History

Local name published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in the 1925 Coast Pilot (p.132) as Kaigani Harbors. The southern harbor has been known as Harris Harbor, as Datzkoo Harbor, and in 1799 as Taddiskey Harbor; names derived from the Datzkoo Islands. See Kaigani Harbors.
