N point of entrance to Uyak Bay, on NW coast of Kodiak I.
Eskimo name published as "Cape Koulugmut," or "Cape of the Kuliuk people," by Captain Lutke (1836, p. 276). Name may have been derived from a native village known as "Koloock" located at this point as recorded in 1805 by Lisianski (1811, map facing p. 169).
