Flows NE, WNW, and the N, to the Chandler River 30 mi above its mouth and 20 mi SE of Umiat, Arctic Slope.
So named by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) geologists during exploration of Naval Petroleum Reserve No. 4, between 1945-53, "because our field party had difficulty crossing this stream with weasels (tracked vehicles). Several tracks and springs were broken."
