In the Gates of the Arctic National Park, heads on the NE base of Sillyasheen Mountain, flows SE 17 mi. from Sillyasheen Mtn. to Wolverine Creek, 4 km (2.5 mi) SW of Crag Peak, and 104 km (65 mi) WNW of Wiseman in the Brooks Range.

History

This as an "Eskimo name for a certain black rock found o the creek," as reported by Robert Marshall in 1932.
