History of Mount Young

Named in 1892 by Harry F. Reid, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), for Reverend S. Hall Young, who accompanied John Muir to Glacier Bay in 1879-1880 (Reid, 1892, p. 30). H. B. Allen, U.S. Air Force (USAF).
