History of Andy Simons Mountain

Named in 1963 by the Seward Chamber of Commerce for Andrew Adrian Simons (1882-1962), early settler and big game hunting guide who in his 27 years as a member of the Alaska Game Commission worked to help conserve and publicize the game resources of Alaska.
