Near the headwaters of Prince Creek, 24 mi NE of the confluence of the Killik River and the Colville River, Arctic Slope.
Descriptive name given in 1959 by William P. Brosge, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), because it was a "good description of the (pudding-like) bog surrounding this lake."
