On Alaska Peninsula, SW-NE trending glacial lake at the head of Blockade Glacier in the Chigmit Mountains 7 mi N of Black Peak and 85 mi WSW of Anchorage, Aleutian Range. 5.5 miles long.
Named by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1962, because the lake is formed by the impounding of melted glacier water behind Blockade Glacier.
