In the E end of the Robinson Mountains, heading 2.5 mi N of Yaga Peak and trending ESE 19 mi. to Icy Bay, S of the Guyot Hills and 73 mi NW of Yakutat; bordering Yahtse Glacier on the NE, Chugach Bay.

History of Guyot Glacier

Named by the New York Times Expedition of 1886 for Arnold Henry Guyot, 1807-84, of Princeton University, and applied to what was then the west lobe of the Malaspina Glacier (Libbey, 1886, p. 296).
