History of Anderson Point

Named in 1914 by Leffingwell (1919, p. 93), for Dr. Rudolph Martin Anderson, of the Canadian Arctic Expedition, to whom Leffingwell was "indebted for transportation from Nome to Flaxman Island * * *".
