Formed by a spit at the N side of the junction of Icy Bay and the Gulf of Alaska, Malaspina Coastal Plain. 2 miles long.
HistoryName published by US@C&GS in 1923 on Chart 8457. Called Guyot or Mud Bay in 1926 Coast Pilot. Until 1966 these names were used interchangeably.
